The community behind our craft is the foundation of our company. Making rugs is not only about beautifying homes — it sustains livelihoods, keeps an ancient skill alive, and connects the people who weave with the people who live with the result. We take that responsibility seriously, and we try to be specific rather than vague about it.
Fair & Child-Labour-Free
Every rug, made in workshops we know and visit.
Our work is fair, safe, and entirely free of child labour, at every stage of production. We hold ourselves to the standards of the Labour Act and Factories Act, and we go further by choosing independent verification over our own word.
We are members of GoodWeave and Care & Fair — two of the most respected certification bodies against child labour and exploitative practice in the rug industry. Membership means our workshops are subject to outside inspection, not just our own claims.

Made to be kept, not replaced.
We favour natural fibres — highland wool and natural silk — and natural, azo-free, low-impact dyes. Something made slowly, by hand, to last for decades is sustainable at its core; the most wasteful rug is the one that is replaced in five years.
Ours are made to be kept.

Our production supports women artisans, cottage-based craft communities, fair and ethical manufacturing, and responsible material sourcing. We are committed to one simple idea: every rug should uplift the hands that weave it.
